And here is Coleson with a walking stick bug that we found outside. Very cool looking!

2008 Fish Fry
Every year we have an annual fish fry with our friends. Nothing like good friends, cold beer and some yummy fried fish, fried okra, and even some fried pickles! We had a great time watching football and playing with all the little kids. Most of them were toddlers around Madison's age and they seemed to have fun playing together. Of course, sharing is always a hard thing to understand but we didn't have any fights that we had to break up. All in all it was a great fish fry!

Pumpkin Patch
This past weekend, we went to a pumpkin patch. It had a petting zoo, corn maze, hay rides, games and more. We had a great time and it's going to be a lot of fun to go every year for our new Halloween tradition.

Halloween costume
Madison finally let us put her Halloween costume on her today. She is a Pretty-in-Pink Witch. It's a super cute costume, but she doesn't like it. The sleeves are a little too itchy for her so we need to buy a black leotard or onesie for her to wear underneath the costume. But for the 5 minutes she wore it, she was super cute!

Football Saturday
We had some friends over to watch the OU/Texas game and the OSU/Missouri game. We all had a great time watching football and playing in the backyard. And of course, Madison loved having everyone over and of course, having most of the attention on her!
Madison getting ready for the day and as always, carrying around shoes. The girl has a shoe fetish and I don't know where she gets it from. :) I only buy her new shoes about every other week.

Here is Daddy and Madison in matching orange. Go Pokes!!
After the OU/Texas game, we all went outside and the boys threw the ball around. Madison loved running around with them and throwing her balls at the boys. And she loves being outside so she was in heaven that we all wanted to be out there for such a long time. And we still had to drag her inside when we were all pooped.
Oh no! A chipped tooth
It finally happened. A chipped tooth. I knew some sort of accident was bound to happen, and it happened last week. I'm just grateful there haven't been any major accidents. It's a tough job learning to walk, run, and get into mischief. She slipped on the wood floor and hit face first. She's a tough girl and it didn't bother her too much. But as you can see from the picture, she now has a chipped tooth-smile until she loses those baby teeth. But still as beautiful as ever!!

Pigtails
Sorry I haven't posted in a little while. My camera broke so I had to buy a new one today. And I don't have much to say, I just wanted to show a few pictures of Madison in her pigtails! After her nap, she was just sitting in my lap relaxing, so I knew it was a perfect time for her to let me experiment with her hair. She looks so old with the pigtails and so cute! Oh, and don't mind her messy face...we just had a snack and that's the most she would let me wipe off without me having to pin her to the ground. :)
